The party's over!

The LAPD descended upon the home of Charlie Sheen on Thursday night in what some insiders are calling a "pre-planned raid"!

"I can confirm police are there, but we're not releasing further details at the moment," said LAPD spokeswoman Norma Eisenman.

Were they looking for drugs???

"There are about two or three patrol cars there," LAPD Van Nuys staffer Stacy Ball added late Thursday night. "There was no 911 call."

Despite the LAPD speaking on the record about their visit to Sheen's house, Charlie Tweeted a denial, saying: "#fastball: all good here on homefront. all reports are false. I'll explain more very soon. #Dogspeed c"

Update: Entertainment Tonight is reporting that the LAPD went to Charlie's house to remove guns from his house as part of settlement agreement with ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

Brooke believed that Charlie holds a license for as many as 47 guns.

Why does someone need 47 guns?????

Last night David and I were invited to an early screening of Captain America: The First Avenger at The Grove here in LA and, as you can see from the photo below, I really got into the spirit of the evening. David and I met up with our friends Gillian and Tim who also attended the screening. My full review of the film is forthcoming but I can tell you right now … I loved Captain America entirely! For some reason, I thought it would be fun to wear a Captain America mask to the screening … in retrospect, I’m not sure it was the best idea.

While I think I rocked the Captain America shirt very well … the helmet is another story. LOL!! Ah well … ’twas fun.

Today is a bit of a sad day for me. After 3 years together, today I say goodbye to my beloved VW SUV. My car lease is up today so I’m going to turn it in and say my goodbyes. I’ve decided not to buy the car but still … I’m gonna miss my baby. Ah well, life goes on.

After spending a couple of days in the desert of Palm Springs, CA, David and I packed up our bags and made our way back home to LA. To be honest, I don’t think Palm Springs is my thing. I totally get the relaxed vibe but for some reason, all that free time made me feel antsy. I liked our lodgings at the ACE Hotel fine but I wasn’t in love. I will say that it was nice to get away for a couple of days but, meh, I prolly would’ve had a better time if we had stayed at home.

On our way back to LA, we did stop off at the high end outlet shopping center off the freeway. Now, I am not an outlet shopper … but this place has Gucci, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Barney’s, Saks and MORE outlets! That being said, I really didn’t find anything that I fell in love with. David picked up a few cool things and I did find a totally bitchin’ denim jacket at the Levi’s Store but I didn’t go nearly as crazy as I thought I was gonna … which is prolly a good thing.

No plans for today … lots of laundry and cleaning up to do. David and I are visiting his brother next weekend in San Francisco so I gots to get this place in order. Happy Monday!!

Yesterday, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has filed for a divorce from her husband Russell. She made the official announcement herself, saying in a statement:

"It was a difficult decision but I have decided to file for divorce from Russell. Although we have tried our best to work out our differences, I have come to the conclusion that it is in the best interest of our family that we separate. Together we are the proud parents of a sweet and wonderful little girl and she remains my number one priority. I am sad for my marriage to come to an end, but am confident that this is the right choice for all involved."

If that's what is best for your family and your daughter, so be it. Sad it has to come to an end though.
